Water droplets on a branch

This is the full-color version of my Wordless Wednesday photo.

A Photo Challenge

You may have seen my earlier post on Wordless Wednesday.

But, as a blogger, I can’t stay “wordless” for long.

With the New Year, I’m going to start some photo challenges.

The first one will happen on Wednesdays.  I will post a Wordless Wednesday photo.  I would love all readers to participate who want to do so.

It can be any photo you’d like, actually.  Just something that leaves you thinking, “Huh.  A lot is going on in that photo.”  I’m going with the “A picture is worth 1000 words concept.”

How do I participate?

There are a few ways to participate.

First, you can post your photo to my Facebook page with the caption “Wordless Wednesday.”

-OR-

If you have a flickr account, post it there and leave a link to it in the comments.  I’ll go comment on your photo and tweet it.

-OR-

You can tweet your photo and include “@ccliteraturegrl” in the tweet.  When I get the tweet, I’ll retweet it.

-OR-

Share the photo on your own blog, but let me know in the comments so I can be sure to go to your blog and tweet your photo.

What Happens Next?

I will gather all the submissions and choose the most striking photos.  I’ll create a photo montage and feature it on Sundays – both on the blog here and on my Facebook page and Twitter page (and these will not be Creative Commons photos unless you specifically ask me to label them that way).

But it’s Thursday and I missed Wordless Wednesday.

Not to worry!  Each Wednesday will be Wordless Wednesday PLUS I’ll have other fun photo challenges going on.

Plus, if you have an idea for a theme, let me know in the comments.  It’s always fun hearing what my readers like to do!

And Why am I Doing This?

In a nutshell, I love photography and it’s fun to share it.  But also, it’s a fun way to get other bloggers and people on the web focused on taking gorgeous photos for their blogs and websites.  More than that, it’s just plain fun to see what people come up with.

So, won’t you join me?  Let’s get to it.
